The Amadeus Claims Analyst is responsible for contributing to the customer satisfaction by managing the claims disputes received from the different sectors of the industry (Distribution, Airlines, BSP and ARC). The individual evaluates the information provided by the customer related to the claim, and determines whether the claim should be paid and what the compensation level should be. Based on the investigations conducted and established procedures to ensure that claims are applicable. As part of the investigation process the Analyst might contact the parts involved or escalate to other department for additional information that can help to determine the responsibilities to define the resolution of the investigation. The role ensures claims are addressed in a timely and customer satisfactory way.

Main Responsibilities
- Monitor and prioritize request for Claims investigation .
- Document and log all interactions related to the Claims in the different information systems provided by the Company.
- Initiate, follow up and close all investigations.
- Manage all the processes related to the Claim Payment Authorization.

JOB HOLDER PROFILE

Education
B.A or B.S. degree, or equivalent work experience.

Relevant work experience

 Industry and Business – travel business knowledge or experience.
 Company –General understanding Amadeus’ corporate profile globally.
 Job Related Work Experience – detail oriented, process-driven type approach to initiatives with clearly defined beginning and end dates.

Skills
Computing
 Office Tools – Solid technical aptitude and skilled in MS Windows-based office tools including, presentation software, database software and desktop applications

Languages
Fluent oral and writing skills in Spanish, English and Portuguese

Specific knowledge
Strong Ticketing and Pricing knowledge is a must.
